Product Placement Ltd is a boutique promotions company with a nationwide presence specialising in product sampling, PR/promotions and events for the FMCG industry.

We have an exciting opportunity for a PR Account Manager to join our friendly talented team. Enjoy working in a fashionable Grey Lynn villa with handy street parking. The purpose of the role is to manage established relationships with FMCG clients.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Write press releases for FMCG ranges
• Create concepts for press release product packs
• Liaise with editors and clients
• Accounts administration
• Personal assistant support to managing director
• Assist with events as and when required
• Keep abreast of the market and identify and refer new business opportunities
• New business activity

Key skills and experience sought:

1. PR/promotions background (min 1 – 2 yrs)
2. Proven written skills, preferably previous press release experience
3. Strong relationship building and communication skills
4. Strong organisational, multi tasking and time management skills
5. Accuracy and attention to detail
6. Ability to prioritorise and deal with pressure and deadlines
7. A degree or a PR diploma is desirable but not essential

This role is ideally suited to individuals who are autonomous, self motivated and confident possessing a friendly, outgoing and creative personality. You’ll love this role if you enjoy meeting and dealing with people and networking.
